Today, SimplyHired.co.uk released its November Employment Outlook, highlighting national and regional market outlooks.
For the fourth consecutive month, the UK has experienced significant growth in job vacancies with a 10.4% month-over-month increase. The UK also experienced a 45.6% year-over-year increase.
Cities and towns across Wales experienced some of the highest month-over-month job gains. Swansea set this month’s record with a 21.1% increase in job vacancies, followed closely by Cardiff with a 17.7% increase.
Walsall and Wolverhampton led the West Midlands in job creation with a 15.6% and 15.0% increase in job vacancies, respectively. Cities throughout the region also demonstrated strong growth, with a 10.3% increase in Birmingham, an 11.1% increase in Coventry and a 6.4% increase in Dudley.
