Today, Simply Hired launched the first personalised job search experience by integrating with Facebook. Job seekers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and India can now opt-in to this feature and search for jobs with the help of their Facebook friends.
Using this new capability, users who log-in with Facebook are able to discover jobs based on their friends’ companies on the homepage of SimplyHired.co.uk. On the search results page, users will also be able to search for jobs at their friends’ companies as well as privately message friends about job opportunities to get the inside track on a role.
This integration also incorporates unique features including personalised job recommendations based on user interests, location and job titles. A company directory listing where all friends work is also available for a more thorough search, as well as the ability to hunt for jobs at companies the user likes. Additionally, users can also see companies where they have the highest number of friends and other relevant job-related information.
Through beta testing of this feature on our US site, SimplyHired.com, we’ve seen user engagement double for users who log-in with Facebook. Having seen such a large jump in engagement with the beta integration, we’re more excited than ever to see how the full integration will help job seekers connect with their social networks and land their dream job.
